Rachel Warkentinis a Portland based artist who received her MFA from Claremont Graduate University, with a BFA from Oregon State University. She works primarily in egg tempera and oil paint. Warkentin has been awarded several fellowships and grants, including the Claremont Graduate University Fellowship, the Walker Parker Memorial Fellowship, and the Helen E. Plinkiewisch Scholarship. She has shown in group exhibitions at Jancar Gallery, Los Angeles, CSU Long Beach, and Giacomo Projects, Venice, Italy. Solo exhibitions include Left Coast Galleries, Studio City, and Phantom Galleries, Long Beach.
